MEET DR. Purcell
Dr. Bradley Purcell received his dental degree from Marquette University School of Dentistry in 2002 and his Specialty in Prosthodontics certificate and Master’s of Science degree from The Ohio State University in 2005. He graduated with Honors from each institution. While in school he was selected to: Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, The National Jesuit Honor Society and Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society. The awards that he has received include: “Outstanding Clinician” given to only one student per dental school class, “Outstanding Performance in the Science of Occlusion and Temporomandibular Joint Function” from the prestigious American Equilibration Society, and “Outstanding Performance and Professionsalism While a Dental Student” from the American College of Dentists. Once in private practice Dr. Purcell joined many dental organizations including: The Academy of Osseointegration, The American College of Prosthodontists, The American Dental Association, the Carlo O. Boucher Conference, Spectrum Dental Society and Seattle Study Club. He has assumed leadership positions as President of the local chapter in The Academy of Prosthodontics and served as a Delegate to the Virginia Dental Association.
As a private practitioner he has been repeatedly selected by his peers to “Columbus Best Dentists” and “America’s Best Dentists.” Dr. Purcell’s practice focuses on providing the highest level of care possible in a warm and caring environment. Dr. Purcell and his team are dedicated to providing their patient’s the best possible experience from the moment they call the office. His clinical interests are: dental implants, full mouth reconstruction crown and bridge dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, complete dentures, partial dentures and special needs patients.
Dr. Purcell continues to publish articles in peer reviewed journals in the area of dental implants and is an editor for the “International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants,” the world’s foremost dental implant scientific journal and the official journal of the Academy of Osseointegration. Dr. Purcell teaches at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry and lectures nationally in the area of dental implants and dental prosthodontics. He gives over 300 hours of continuing education per year to private practice dentists and receives over 100 hours of continuing education. Dr. Purcell runs Spectrum Dental Society a continuing education AGD Certified study club dedicated to providing high-level education to area dentists and has a lecture facility attached to and affiliated with Spectrum Dental & Prosthodontics.
Dr. Purcell is married to Nicole and they have two wonderful boys Carter and Alex. Dr. Purcell is only able to fully dedicate himself to the field of dentistry because of the support of his loving family. In his free time, Dr. Purcell loves fly-fishing and playing sports with his boys.
