Dr. Brad Purcell received his dental degree with honors from Marquette University School of Dentistry in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He also graduated with honors and received his specialty in Prosthodontics and Masters of Science degree from The Ohio State University, School of Dentistry. As a student he was in Phi Kappa Phi National Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and the National Jesuit Honor Society. As a student, he was awarded the “Outstanding Clinician” award, the “Outstanding Performance and Professionalism” award and the “Outstanding Performance in the Science of Occlusion and Temporomandibular Joint Function” award.
Since entering private practice, Dr. Purcell was elected President of the Virginia Section of the American College of Prosthodontists, is and has been director of the Spectrum Dental Society, Prosthodontic Advisor for both the local Seattle Study Club and Advanced Dental Concepts study club. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Academy of Osseointegration, the American College of Prosthodontists and the American Dental Association. Dr. Purcell has been Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University School of Dentistry, and has given over 4000 hours of continuing education lecturing nationally and internationally to private practice dentists. Additionally, he has reviewed articles for the International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Implants and continues to publish peer reviewed journal articles specifically in the area of dental implants. Every year since 2011 he has been selected to Top Dentists in the State of Ohio. Dr. Purcell currently maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics at Spectrum Dental & Prosthodontics in Worthington, Ohio.
